How to win a Beta key on Twitch
If it is possible to obtain a key via the registration at the beta on Battle.net, another way to play the Beta of Overwatch 2 is to win a key by looking at streamers associated with the event on Twitch.
For that, you need:
- An active Twitch account (free)
- link your Twitch account to your Battle.net account
- Watch a Twitch streamer with a Drops Twitch program activated during his Live
To link your Twitch account to your Battle.net account, simply go to the settings of your Twitch account and direct yourself in the “Connexions” part. There, the software should identify the presence of Battle.net on your PC and offer you to link the two accounts.
Twitch should then display a green icon next to your Battle.net account name as well as its region. From the moment when this is displayed in the connections section, you just have to go to a live stream, having the Twitch Drops option displayed below the name of the stream.
Date of Beta for Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 sees the launch of its first phase of Beta closed on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 8 p.m. This version should notably offer new heroes, new cards and new game modes. As a reminder, the title will have PVE game modes in addition to the PVP present on the first opus.
Content of the first beta phase:
- New heroine (damage): Sojourn
- New “Push” game mode
- Multiplayer 5C5
- Redesign of heroes
- 4 new cards
A priori, the first phase of the Beta of Overwatch 2 should stop on May 17. Please note, this does not mean that the test phase will be limited only to this period. Indeed, this period should be the first in a long process.
